Feb-euro-ary

Lets be honest, you missed the jokes and puns...

So it's been a great week. My mom and dad travelled across the world to visit for a week. We toured, rode trains, metros, busses, and taxis all week and managed to see more than I thought possible. As you might expect, I am now exhausted... so this will be short and sweet.

Below, you will find pictures of a few things:

Kutna Hora - This is a pretty little town about an hour to the east of Prague. Upon first visiting this place, you might never guess the strange things found within. A few hundred years back, following The Plague and The Hussite Wars, monks at a local monastery were left with the responsibility of disposing of the bodies of 40,000 people. These monks, as it turns out, were either psychotic or extremely creative, because they decided to decorate their monastery with the bones. I've never seen anything like it. These pictures may not be suitable for the faint of heart.

Cesky Krumlov - Just look at the pictures. This city is so beautiful. Despite the fact that all museums and historical buildings were closed to the public during non-tourist season, we managed to wander through narrow alleys and centuries-old courtyards for nearly 8 hours. It was really great. I'll be returning to this town in May for a canoe trip. Real excited.

Praha - The rest of the week was spent visiting castles, cathedrals, museums, shops and Czech pubs throughout Prague. And a wonderful week was had by all.

Off to bed. G'night.
